| To get to the Mill of Llop I went passed three other mills along the way: Balitre, Més Avall and Gironi, and this is so because the Saint Francisco stream is in the same place. Today these mills are in ruins and there is little left of some of them. Now there is a big pool which is a green water treatment plant. In La Fatarella municipal area, in Camposines, there is another mill which is so important that we received a letter from a scholar who warns us of its importance in the cultural heritage, and more scholars have published very thick books and a magazine from the Centre d’Estudis de la Terra Alta speaks only about the wheat mills in all the county. |
