“Els safareigs públics de la Conca de Barberà. Un testimoni de la feina de les dones en el passat.” Written by Rosa Maria Canela, Iolanda Vivancos (anthropologists) and Manel Martínez (an expert in the Conca de Barberà region). Published by Cossetània Edicions. The book launch will be presented by Pepa Nogués, an anthropologist specialising in popular culture, and it will take place on Saturday 13th September 2008, at 8 p.m., at the Fundació el Solà headquarters in La Fatarella. During the dinner that will take place after the book launch, the wines from l’Olivera will be presented. L’Olivera is a small working cooperative situated in Lleida, in Vallbona de les Monges. The winery belongs to the well-known Costers del Segre origin and quality guarantee. The vineyards are grown deep in the valleys that make up the region’s landscape, in accumulation soils slightly calcareous. The wine elaborated by L’Olivera is produced in 14 ha. of vineyards in the Macabeu, Parellada and Chardonnay varieties. Six sorts of wines are being offered which combine different production methods and varieties used. |
