Flourmills

Flourmills were needed to process grain into flour, using machinery powered by water energy.
These constructions included the components that were needed to harness, store, and channel the water, in addition to others that enabled the millstones to turn.
Since flourmills required a certain volume of flowing water, they were usually located next to springs or streams.
Within the municipality of La Fatarella, with the exception of Molí (Mill) de Camposines, which was on the Sec River, the mills were located near the Riera (Stream) de Sant Francisco.
