The Xirolet Excursion

Within the objectives of La Fundació we can find the protection of the cultural heritage of La Fatarella.  Recently, a story belonging to the oral tradition of La Fatarella was published.  One of its characteristics is the fact that it happens in real places around the village and its surroundings, where dry stone buildings are a feature.

The story’s illustrator drew inspiration from the excursion we are now suggesting.  From La Fundació el Solà website (www.fundacioelsola.org), you can visit the area of Xirolet or the silly boy, which will allow you to find out more about the character and the itinerary of the excursion with come buildings and landscapes of dry stone.
