The opportunities of school learning together with leisure that the surroundings of La Fatarella offer, are no dealt with just an itinerary. On the contrary, the variety of environmental and heritage themes which the surroundings offer and the different ways of treating them according to the age of the pupils and the requirements of the curriculum and its different area syllabuses, and above all, the possibilities of institutional collaboration which the administrative area can grant, make of La Fatarella an environment especially rich for both teaching and learning.

L'Alfatara, the divine water wheel Is a bulletin that intends to establish contact with friends and sympathisers of Fundació El Solà periodically. As the first number’s leading article says: “…Alfatara, from which derives the name of la Fatarella, means waterwheel in Arabic, an instrument to draw water from a well. With such a suggestive name we launch the first issue of this bulletin by la Fundació, which will inform you of everything with reference to la Fundació El Solà.
